The Breckpot lab leverages its expertise in mRNA technology and immunology to design innovative cancer immunotherapy strategies. The lab has developed mRNA technology for several clinical trials, along with a workflow to monitor adaptive immune responses following vaccination. In the BAXERNA project, the group will produce immunosilent mRNA encoding novel bacterial antigens and analyze the adaptive immune response following administration of candidate vaccines to mice.
